Return to Stained Glass Gallery

This window was made as a Christmas present for the clients mother. The requirements were that it needed to have a crane, osprey, heron or some other bird of that type. It also needed to have bamboo and three red flowers in the bottom left hand corner.

After having done some research on the internet and in order to balance out the red colors, it was decided that the bird would be a Tibetan Crane.

To create some detail and to add a splash of color, I fused crushed glass and spaghetti pieces of glass to what would be the center of the flowers.detail of flower center
