Mt Jefferson

This window was made for a clients vacation home that overlooks Detroit Reservoir in Detroit, Oregon. They wanted a window of the view from their cabin. In order to create a mountain that looked realistic I used powdered glass and a kiln to fire on the details of the mountains. Working with a picture of the Mountain itself I tried to replicate the various ridges on the mountain. I really liked how this came out. Not only did it add a realistic look but it also added texture to the window.
